This guide will teach you how to search online for music and download it from the internet for free. It's really easy to do.
There are 6 simple steps to download music online for free.
- Google search for your album title.
- Google search for your album with rapidshare and megaupload.
- Navigate your search findings for relevant links.
- Copy and paste those links within your browser.
- Enter the confirmation number for your download.
- Wait and download the album you wish to listen to!
Here's a simple break down of the whole process.
Step 1: Google Search
You need to figure out what you want to download. If you already know the album title this is simple. If not, go to Google dot com and search for the band that you want. Check their official website. If you have a hard time finding their website, try wikipedia.org for their name as well. You're sure to find results there.
Step 2: Google Search for Your Album With Specific Words
Your key search words are the album title and the word rapidshare or the word megaupload. Simply format the search like this: rapidshare + ALBUM_NAME where ALBUM_NAME is the name of the music you want to download. Write it in Google without quotes.
You will also want to try: megaupload + ALBUM_NAME.
What is Megaupload and RapidShare?
These are two websites that host files. People will upload the music album that you want to download on these websites and you will then search online for that website link so you can easily download that album. Simple stuff. So Joe in Alaska will upload a Beatles album and then you search for the link to that file and then download that album.
Step 3: Navigate your search findings for relevant links.
This is the hardest step. What you want to do here is search through the Google search findings for site descriptions with a rapidshare or megaupload URL in them.
Here is a good example:

Notice the "http: //rapidshare.com/ …"
Google has found a website that is showing a rapid link and the album title you would like to find within the site description.
Try a bunch of websites to get the idea for this process. But your best bet is to teach for websites with the [http://rapidshare.com/blahblah] or [http://megaupload.com/blahblah] URL within the site description.
Step 4: Copy and paste those links within your browser.
You now need to visit those websites and find the rapid URL URL. It should be obvious. It will probably be after a list of the songs on the album. Simply copy and paste the link or click it if that is an option.
Step 5: Enter the confirmation number for your download.
Now all you need to do is type in the confirmation number provided by the megaupload or rapidshare website. This protects their websites from having people download all the files on their website, ruining their bandwidth and slowing their service. This is an annoying step but it's productive for these websites so we must be patient and enjoy their service!
Step 6: Download your music album!
Click the download link and begin downloading the album! Pretty simple!
