Relationship Advice – The Kindred Spirit

[ad_1]

When we search for love in another, we secretly hope that they will be a little like us. You know you do it… we all do. Why is this? Because we know ourselves very well. To meet someone with similar tastes in music, religious beliefs, ideals and dreams makes it easy. We call this “compatibility” and we believe it can make a relationship much easier to manage. And we’re right.

Who doesn’t want that special person to snuggle with under that blanket, cheering on your favorite football team? Or to see eye to eye on politics or spiritual beliefs? In a few relationships I’ve been in, we were getting along perfectly for weeks until we discussed spiritual beliefs. Then she looked at me like I was from another planet… and disappeared. (I hide the spaceship in my barn out back)

It is also fun to meet someone who hasn’t tried all the things you have, and now you get to share your experiences. And think of all you can learn from your new partner. Love is crazy, cannot be pinned down so easy and goes around and around until everyone is dizzy. But we still search for the Kindred Spirit. A person so much in tune with who we are we can’t even believe they exist. A comfort level so intense that you feel as if you could crawl inside them and be safe forever.

The Kindred Spirit is not as hard as it sounds to find. Psychic energy has a very high attraction level naturally. You just have to know how to be in tune with it. Looking for love for all of the wrong reasons will keep you from finding your Kindred Spirit, however. Choosing a partner for how they look, how much money they make, how popular they are, to cure your loneliness, to fill your psychic emptiness, to boost your ego or to find your “mom/dad” will lead to failure. Well, maybe not failure, but you will never know the warmness of their true touch. You will often look at each other, but never really in the same direction. And the energy between you that can accomplish anything and shake the Heavens will be reduced to superficial niceties and many tearful nights alone.

What kind of Kindred Spirit are you attracting into your life? Are you being the Superhero of your life? Do you practice being the best that you can be so you can meet someone just like you? Let go of egotistical expectations and reasons that are no longer genuine. As soon as you can look in the mirror and tell yourself: “I am great. I am beautiful. I am the best that I can be.” Attraction will happen naturally. A Kindred Spirit is a psychic spirit. It can not be bought, borrowed, lied to or fooled. When you discover the power in yourself, you’ll find a love that matches that power. True love lives among the giants of men…no matter how tall you are.
